Policies and Terms
- "Place an Ad" rates apply to non-commercial, private party advertisers within the State of Ohio only. Commercial and out-of-state advertisers should contact a Classified Representative by phone at 937-223-1515.
- "Place an Ad" rates are cancelable but not refundable. No refunds or partial refunds if ad is cancelled prior to the expiration date.
- All advertising must be paid at time of order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
- All "Place an Ad" packages are limited to one item per ad.
- Ads must include price of item.
- "Place an Ad" advertising deadlines are subject to change due to holidays, acts of god, etc. In the event that an ad is received after deadline, the ad will be scheduled to begin on the next possible date.
- "Place and Ad" rates and specials are subject to change at any time without prior notification.
- All ads are accepted pursuant to the Visitor Agreement. The Publisher reserves the right to edit, cancel, reject or reclassify advertisements without prior notice.
- The Publisher is not responsible for errors after the first day of publication.
- The Publisher assumes no financial responsibility for errors nor for omission of copy beyond the cost of the ad.
FRAUD ALERT
Be aware of an offer from anyone who proposes to send you a cashier's check and then have you wire the balance. This is a fraud. Banks will cash these counterfeit checks but hold you responsible for the amount when they fail to clear. If you suspect such a scam, call the non-emergency number of your local police department and/or the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) toll-free at 1-877-382-HELP(4357).
USE CAUTION
- Trust your instincts. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
- Transactions with local buyers and sellers are safest.
- DO NOT WIRE FUNDS to a distant buyer, regardless of carrier.
- NEVER give out personal financial information, e.g., bank account, eBay, PayPal, etc.
- For advice on your options if you think you've been scammed, contact the non-emergency number for the local police department.
- Go to http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/consumer.htm for additional advice on avoiding scams and rip-offs.
